On the morning of 23rd February 2022, Russia began its invasion of Ukraine, bringing a conflict that hasn’t been seen in Europe since the end of World War II in 1945.

While That’s TV prides itself on relevant local news, the Ukrainian crisis will undoubtedly affect companies, businesses, and the daily lives of the UK public.

Impartiality is a cornerstone of good journalistic practice. However, the conflict in Eastern Europe must be scrutinised for what it is: an unsanctioned, audacious, and immoral act of aggression.

I have so far produced around twenty-five news packages on the conflict and have curated this portfolio of packages that I hope showcase the diverse approach we’ve taken to reporting on this conflict.

I want to give special thanks to the experts at the University of Portsmouth for their sage commentary, the many fundraisers and volunteers working towards helping Ukrainians fleeing their country, and especially the Ukrainians themselves who have bravely shared their stories with us.

Слава Україні.
